Joseph O'Connor is an internationally recognised author, trainer and consultant. He is a leading author in the field of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) - the relationship of language to thought, and the study of outstanding individuals in many fields. He is also a leading trainer and author in the field of Leadership and Systems thinking.
He is president of Lambent do Brasil, a training and consulting company in Sao Paulo.
He is co-founder of the ICC (International Coaching Community)

He is the author of fourteen books and three audiotapes on training, communication skills, management, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and systemic thinking.

B.Sc. (Honours) in Anthropology from London University
L.R.A.M. from the Royal Academy of Music
Certified NLP Trainer with the International NLP Training Association (INLPTA) and Master trainer of NLP with the International Community of NLP. (ICNLP)

England, North America (Guest faculty at NLP University Santa Cruz 1998-99 and first European trainer at NLP Comprehensive, Colorado 1999) Denmark, Finland, Germany, (Keynote speaker at the NLP National Conference 1998), Sweden, Mexico, Hong Kong, Singapore, Czech Republic, Turkey, Tunisia, Austria, New Zealand, (Keynote speaker at national NLP conference 1997), Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

He is in demand internationally as a trainer and consultant and was the first European Trainer to give NLP seminars in Chile, where he presented NLP to a special conference of delegates including CEOs and members of the Chilean Senate, including a Presidential candidate.
He was also the first NLP trainer in to give public NLP seminars in the Czech Republic.
He was awarded the medal of the Singapore National Community leadership institute for his work in training and consultancy in 1996.
