For those of you about to enter University, you are probably thinking about your future and what you would like to become. At the same time, you are hearing stories about the reawakening of Asia's ancient giant China and how it is changing the world in a radical way. China's stunning performance at the Greek Olympics, Chinese astronauts have successfully returned from SPACE, and everywhere you see "Made in China" products.
Oftentimes young persons do not spend enough time examining how trends affect them, and how they should position themselves for success. You need answers to these important questions: |
- How is emerging China going to affect you?
- Where are the future opportunities?
- Who will you be competing with?
- What global skills you must develop, etc.

To better prepare young people for success in university and for life thereafter, HKU SPACE Center for International Programs in Suzhou is launching the "Discover the New China, Discover Yourself" Induction Program. This special One Week Program is an introductory program to help young people understand the realities of an emerging China and how they may be affected. A rich exposure program to contemporary and cultural China is planned for the one week duration in Suzhou. |
